NATIONAL PROGRAM ON PURE DOMESTIC EDIBLE OILS

The National Program on Pure & Natural Edible Oils promotes oilseed cultivation to reduce import dependency, create employment, and provide healthy oils to families. India consumes 25 million tonnes of edible oil annually, but produces only 10 million tonnes, importing the remaining 15 million tonnes, mainly palm oil. Refined oils often contain harmful chemicals linked to heart disease and cancer, while pure and natural oils help control cholesterol and boost immunity. Adopting pure oils ensures better health and supports self-reliance in edible oil production.

Salient Features of Farmer Producer Company (FPC) under Samruddh Kisan Chamber

  • Affiliation: Farmer Producer Company will be affiliated to Samruddh Kisan Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture at the block level.

  • Membership: Minimum 3,000 shareholder farmers, ensuring selection of beneficiary farmers from every village of the tehsil.

  • Registration Cost: 100% registration expenses will be borne by Samruddh Kisan Chamber.

  • Share Capital: About ₹30 lakh share capital (₹1,000 per farmer) will be arranged by Samruddh Kisan Chamber as finance.

  • Management & Marketing Support: Expert guidance for establishing agri-allied industries and units for the FPC.

  • Monthly Dividend: Regular dividend credited to each shareholder farmer’s bank account as an additional income.

  • Market Support: Assistance in getting best market prices for agricultural produce.

What is the membership fee and what does it include?
The lifetime membership fee is ₹1000. This one-time amount gives you access to all the services and support offered by the Samruddha Kisan Chamber of Commerce. As a member, you become a part of a government-recognized network focused on empowering farmers through self-employment, agri-business support, and access to pure, chemical-free products. The fee helps maintain and operate essential programs that directly benefit farmers and their families.
What benefits do members receive on products and services?
Members are eligible for flat 25% discount on a range of essential agricultural and household products, including pure wood-pressed edible oils that are NABL-certified for quality. Depending on availability, members also gain access to other organic or natural food products like Organic Jaggery at subsidized rates through the Chamber’s distribution network.
Is the membership refundable or transferable?
No, the ₹1000 membership fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. However, it is a one-time lifetime fee, meaning there are no renewals or annual charges. Once you join, you remain a lifelong member with continued access to product discounts, training programs, awareness events, and other chamber activities. Your contribution supports the infrastructure that benefits all registered members.
Is the membership limited to Pure Cold Pressed Oils only?
No, membership is not limited to Pure Cold-Pressed Oils only. Initially, Pure Cold-Pressed Oils will be provided at a 25% discount. At regular intervals, other organic and high-quality products will also be offered at a significant discount.
